This is a fictional term (and a poor one at that) or an extremely, extremely rare term. I did a Google search:
Results 1 - 7 of about 9 for fanji anime -encyclopedia -wikipedia. (0.07 seconds) The mius signs tells google to not show results that contain those terms. The narrowing was required to eliminate most of the taichi results (apparently a Chinese proper noun, possibly part of a person's name) and wikipedia mirrors.

No actual non-Wikipedia occurance of said term found. I will file for a VfD. --69.214.226.102 21:14, 7 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

- MERGE and REDIRECT to otaku. Note that Google groups shows that this has been used since 2001. [+fanji -wikipedia -"fanji gu" -"gu fanji" Google web] doesn't seem to show any usage. 132.205.15.43 22:31, 9 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment I checked out the google groups link you gave which returned 18 results, and I checked all the results. However, only one person uses the word in results 1-3 (by "Eldrick Tobin, Master of Perversion"). Non-english occurances occur in result 5 ("Htb lei fanji lpuejci enynk dydlaz mf") and results 7, 11, 15, 16 ("o fanji degli MP3nji, ti cade il pisello, e"). In two results it occurs as a part of a URL ("fanji.edu.mx") and other results (7) show "fanji" occuring as part of an encoded data (e.g. fanJi+qPw2CxGt). Only one person on Earth using the word is not note-worthy. --69.214.226.102 20:49, 12 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
