[edit]Manage → Manage (Belgium) – Per the above comment in English 'manage' is used almost exclusively to refer to the work done by managers and others, known more formally by it's job title Management. Looking e.g. at page stats this page had 1200 views this month, barely 1% of 100,000 viewers of Management. This page should be moved to disambiguate it and 'Manage' should become a redirect to Manager.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 14:35, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
- Support – not primarytopic here. Dicklyon (talk) 16:52, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
- Support. Away from a title that is at worst misleading to almost all readers, and at best utterly meaningless. To a title that gives information (imagine! ☺). NoeticaTea? 00:02, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
- Support definitely management. 76.65.128.132 (talk) 03:26, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
- How many readers are really searching for or linking to the verb "manage" expecting to find an article about management? As pointed out, a tiny number compared to the noun "management" (even assuming not a single reader expects the town), and also a small number, less than 10%, compared to the noun "manager". Scanning the incoming links, I note only five or six that probably intend "management", out of close to 100, so most editors aren't too confused. Since there's a hatnote on the article, and no evidence the majority are landing on the wrong article, I don't see a problem. Station1 (talk) 22:45, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
- I and the IP poster that proceeded me at least, got here and were surprised by the article. We cannot know for sure but to get some idea we can see if this page is visited more than the articles for similar Belgian municipalities (picking adjacent ones in the navigation template): Les Bons Villers: 139 visits. Montigny-le-Tilleul 216 visits. this page 1210 visits. (all in the last 30 days). 1000 more visitors here than comparable Belgian municipalities, to what is an otherwise unremarkable article. I would think most of that difference is due to people thinking 'manage' will link to something to do with its common English usage.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 23:10, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
- Excellent point. A few others have views higher than 216, but Manage is certainly the highest. Based on that I wouldn't oppose a move, although I note usual disambiguation would be Manage, Belgium. Station1 (talk) 23:24, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

- comment I did think after posting that there may be some other standard for disambiguating municipalities, provinces etc. that I wasn't aware of; so yes, if there is a more usual way to do it that should be used.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 23:57, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
