What's with the name?
[edit]I'm not understanding how the title "Odds and Sods" would pop up for an album. Where did it come from? And how does it describe the content? Also, am I correct in my saying Roger Daltrey designed the cover? According to www.thewho.net,it was indeed designed by him, but you never know.
- A belated answer, but what the hell: "odds and sods" is an English expression referring to assortment of various things. Like "odds and ends". --Jacj 15:04, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
- Since this question was not discussed properly and for the sake of albums continuity, I have changed it to compilation album. In case you differ, please discuss. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yoursvivek (talk • contribs) 13:25, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
- This album consists of fresh material released for the first time in '74 and the later expanded CD and rock encyclopedia's all refer to it as a general release, not a compilation (of previously released material.) 50.111.3.17 (talk) 23:57, 22 March 2018 (UTC)
