Further attention from their live performances, which included tours with Midget and the Warm Jets, saw the band sign with Food Records. Wikilinks removed. Alongside this, he felt detachment; part of the lyrics namecheck Syd Barrett as a friend of Woomble's would laugh upon hearing the former's voice. Already edited. Not sure what is meant here; Woomble felt detached, so he namechecked Barrett and would laugh when he heard Barrett's voice?
