Talk:Libre Manifesto
I can't find Libre Manifesto too easily on Google. Are we just spreading someone's idea, or a somewhat widely accepted lifestyle/theorem/manifesto/whatever. - user:zanimum
Libre Society are a diffuse movement built around radical dadaism etc. Their diffuseness causes real location problems - much as in the same way that trying to locate and define dadaism is extremely difficult as they deliberately were ironic and confusing as to their intentions and aims. I'll try to dig some info out of my course notes at Uni ABC 13:46, 1 Dec 2003 (UTC)
There seem to be several manifestos or statements of values which are aligned. Examples include Libre communities manifesto from the Free Knowledge Foundation/Fundación Conocimiento Libre, the Hipatia first and second manifestos, Eben Moglan's dotCommunist Manifesto, The Libre Society Manifesto, etc. Is there one which covers them all?
I know of another (unrelated) manifesto, which might serve as an example for how this page could be rewritten (if not removed): the Agile Manifesto. i.e. for each of the various manifestos, provide some background to its history and development. This page could still stand as a disambiguation page, category, or for the one libre manifesto which covers the rest ?? Kim 12:29, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
Recommend merging Libre manifesto into this page under a new heading "Examples of" and expanding there. Other examples are already referred to under "External links". --K (talk) 15:31, 16 October 2015 (UTC)
