[edit]from VfD: Non-notable game music composer. Title is wrong (uncapitalized name). — Gwalla | Talk 03:36, 13 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: I couldn't speedy delete it when I saw it on the queue, but it's definitely a delete. Too minor, too specialized. Geogre 15:29, 13 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Um I think there's still a live VFD discussion on this? Kappa 10:01, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- I think so as well - there certainly has been no closing of the VfD discussion, so I'm wondering what this is about ... not some counter-tactic to VfD, I hope ... Elf-friend 12:16, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC) (I will restore VfD message).
Why delete?
[edit]The guy's been writing video game music since at least the early 90s. He's about as notable as Hitoshi Sakimoto (they're actually a close friends, and business partners)
He's a popular composer in the shmup community, and is fairly active in the chiptune scene. He's not just some yahoo who wrote the music for a single game, as he scores several projects each year. All of his music inspires fan remixes, and his name is thrown around quite a bit when naming video game composers. In any case, anyone wanting to get more information about him can definitely make use of at least the links provided at the bottom of the page.
I could understand if someone wanted to incorporate it into a page of Japanese video game composers, but he's worked too many projects to just throw him off of Wikipedia entirely.
Maybe I should provide a partial discography? —Preceding unsigned comment added by RemyK313 (talk • contribs) 12:51, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
