This is a list of most populous municipalities in Belgium. Out of the 581 Belgian municipalities (as of 1 January 2019) the list contains all those with a population over 30,000.

All of Belgium is divided into municipalities, however a municipality may or may not have an additional royally-decreed city status. For example, Brussels is a federal region of 19 municipalities, the City of Brussels being only one of them.
