Superlative

I've removed the description of Kimbanguist Church as the largest independent African church - the South African government suggests that the Zion Christian Church has 4 million followers. I've also temporarily removed the statement In 1969 the Kimbanguist Church was the first to be admitted to the World Council of Churches - can someone fill in the gap; the first what? POV : Rewrite required

This article is very POV and obviously written by someone who is opposed to the this church. In particular, it asserts that the church equates the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit with human figures — which orthodox Christians would call heresy. Well, I went to their website (which is in French), ran it through a Google translator, and found nothing like that. They may use different illustrations to those with which westerners are familiar, but their teaching on the Trinity IS ORTHODOX. To say otherwise is false. We can correct that UN-sourced false statement and refer to the Kimbanguist website itself as our source. David Cannon (talk) 14:09, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Vague phrasing

When the introductory paragraph says that the church is 'considered a branch of Christianity', could it be made more clear who considers it a branch of Christianity? As it has been rejected by the World Council of Churches (later in the same paragraph) it's not self-evident. Or maybe a rephrase? Hephae3tion (talk) 14:23, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
