Hello, I'm Brazilian, have a lot of free time and a will to learn things - mostly by reading or being online until I feel bad about it. One day, I was searching in Google for Sonic the Hedgehog, and I´ve found Wikipedia's page. I liked it - but my first edits were on the Portuguese Wiki. Since the mess there is worse than here, I stopped editing there for a while - and nowadays the edits are more numerous on EN Wiki (EN: over 14,000, PT: over 7,200) even if a few were unlogged. The number might not be too big, but my edits fit "quality over quantity" - sometimes I create whole sections, add images, etc. in just one edit. (you don't want to see many tabs end up open) The articles edited by me might not be high culture or vital articles, but at least I'm doing my best to make the internet not suck.

Given I majored in communication, it's no surprise our "weekly news" at the Top 25 Report interest me, and I even decide to break out of laziness\writer's block to write sometimes, with much more frequency once it seemed like I was the only one who cared about keeping the project running. It got to the point that someone even credited me for the overall report on YouTube, and mentioned me on an article about Wikipedia. (on a lesser note, I've been thrice accused of having a political bias, give me a hat to throw)

A girl that shakes me - or my hands, at least. Turning the Metroid series into a Good Topic - both GT nomination and extensive work - even if it's currently demoted until I break out of laziness to improve Metroid Prime: Federation Force and Metroid Dread: Taking Metroid Prime, which wasn't a big deal before my first edit. Editing it at least 73 times, creating whole sections, reworking info already there. Doing all the path to improve - Wikiproject assessment, GA nomination and pass, Peer review, one, no, two failed FACs. And then not being bold enough to re-re-renominate (was waiting some time to do it), and being surpassed by someone, and not being informed on candidacy being closed. But despite this final bureaucracy... turning Metroid Prime into a Featured Article! Turning the rest of the Prime trilogy into FAs as well, though not as the primary editor - that honor is from User:Gary King. 24 edits on Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (some really crucial, and also fixing of the GAN requests and most of the FAC ones); Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, only 9... but doing "reception", requesting a WP:VG assessment and the first GA nomination must be enough. And while we're in the Trilogy, helped Metroid Prime: Trilogy become a Good Article. Improved List of Metroid media from "simple (and rehashed) game list" to "Featured list". Upgrading Metroid: Other M to GA status... despite the fact that I don't even own a Wii. Helping a lot with Metroid Fusion and Metroid (video game).
