A one-liner: Jagamon Is A Plant Type Digimon, His Name Comes From The Word Jagaimo, A Type Of Potato. His Attack Is Smash Potato And Body Blow.. Apart from wishing I knew what these people smoke, would this substubette not be better off as a one-line entry on List_of_Digimon? I'm all for listing each and every form of digitised attack vegetable if it's something people care about, but there are about 500 of the beasts. Ianb 06:30, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: The Pokeplague is bad enough. The B-league of these things simply is out. "Mashed potato power!" Geogre 13:25, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)

- The number of red links on that page scares me. -- Cyrius|✎ 19:02, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Comment: Maybe send all such articles to hell, I'm told (;-> that they are a big Digimon customer... Seriously, I wonder whether it would be better to redirect this somewhere, maybe an article on minor characters, or maybe merge this sort of content into List_of_Digimon. No vote as yet. I did add the vfd notice. Andrewa 20:03, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- thanks, I forgot. Comment: the 543 entries on that page (I had my computer count them for me) scare me too. This kind of information really belongs in a matrix (Name / Type / Etymology / ... ) with only the really notable ones getting their own article. ( "In 2004 Gherkinmon, a pickle-type Digimon, became the first thingymon to win an Olympic Gold medal in the Vegetable Martial Arts category, flattening his opponent with a Gherkin Belch Attack. Although Gherkinmon was subsequently eaten in an unfortunate party incident, the Athens City Government will rename the Parthenon in his honor. etc. etc."). Ianb 22:11, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)

- Delete trivia - and yes, I do think most of the pokemon articles should go elsewhere as well. -- Cyrius|✎ 19:02, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: subtrivial. Unlink all 543 items in list of Digimon to forestall more foolishness. Wile E. Heresiarch 02:04, 25 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. It's this kind of incredible silliness that will keep Wikipedia from being taken seriously by serious people. If there were the remotest reason to keep it, it might be different, but I really can't think of one. Thank god the pog fad died before Wikipedia came on scene, or we'd have fifteen thousand articles about each different kind of pog, play variations, techniques, and megabytes of what would be now utterly useless and irrelevant information. Just like digimon will be in ten years. Denni☯ 01:58, 2004 Jul 27 (UTC)
- No pun intended, but isn't it time we cut this off at the roots somehow? 543 articles on fictional characters from a kiddie anime and card game is a tad alarming. Can all this be merged, or would anyone even want to try? Delete, but not before Ianb teaches all of us the "Gherkin Belch Attack!" - Lucky 6.9 17:51, 27 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Unfortunately I am not at liberty to reveal team strategy. However, it can be effectively simulated with the aid of Garbage Plate. Ianb 23:39, 27 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- comment: I will volunteer to make a non-red-linked table out of the List_of_Digimon page using magical skript p0w3rz. Ianb 23:39, 27 Jul 2004 (UTC)
