I previously posted this at User talk:JamesDay -- oops!

Hi, during our IRC conversation I had a nagging feeling that I had got the article count wrong by an order of magnitude. I was right! The server has returned and I see that the spelling thing was found on 12,000 articles. Also, it's worth noting that many of these articles were false positives caused by the overly wide SQL queries used to find them. As of now (see this) 276 articles are "-5" i.e. were sent to the server but did not need to be sent back; 176 are "-1" or "1" which means they were sent both ways. Both these factors makes the bandwidth negligible! Other stuff: the stubsensor project has 1600 arts, wiki syntax fixing has 8400 arts, and the untagged images project found 16000 images. See Template:Active Wiki Fixup Projects. r3m0t talk 00:03, Jun 1, 2005 (UTC)

Awesome. I'm really glad I can be of service, and this puts my mind somewhat more at ease about the strain on my server. Hope this works out well for you. Let me know if you need anything from me. — Joey Day (talk·edits) 23:12, Jun 1, 2005 (UTC)
Just writing to tell you that although the "spelling" project was not moved over to your server, "spelling2" and "spelling3" (both significantly smaller) are working on your server. Thanks! r3m0t talk 15:49, Jun 13, 2005 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:WGU logo.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:WGU logo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 07:54, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Vision Solutions, Inc.

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Vision Solutions, Inc. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ukexpat (talk) 23:12, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:WGU logo.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:WGU logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:01, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
