Reference to Royal Grammar School, Newcastle removed. Bunting did not attend this school. This urban myth has been refuted in numerous authoritative biographies. See Discussion at RGS Newcastle Wiki site. Haltwhistlehistory (talk) 13:08, 23 April 2011 (UTC)

[edit]I have considered asking the Durham University Library for the right to use this photograph. Would there be any objections? http://www.dur.ac.uk/images/basil-bunting-poetry.centre/rapallo2.gif Mrathel (talk) 22:06, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Any objection would be on the Library's part. I assume from your silence that the Library declined to license the photo appropriately. --Gwern (contribs) 07:06 1 July 2010 (GMT)
Briggflatts
[edit]Given the brevity of both the main article, and the one on Briggflatts, wouldn't it make sense to combine them? Rwood128 (talk) 00:50, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
- No. Briggflatts needs to be expanded because it is one of the major late 20th-century modernist poems, it should not be minimized by a ill-conceived merge.--ColonelHenry (talk) 23:55, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
