Talk:Bob Bakker
The original referred to Bakker as "oddball" and "eccentric." While these terms aren't offensive, and this image may even be a source of pride for Mr. Bakker, it seemed that the characterizations where inappropriate unless the could be credited.
I knew nothing about him; but the original article was so sparse that I had to do a Google search to at least add some external links (and fix some typos, and add some internal wikipedia links).
The external links were chosen for sites that seemed credible, even reputable, and stable. Anyone with the time and inclination should be able to read all those articles and profiles to expand and refine this entry. A GFDL or PD picture of him would be a nice addition!
I'd be interested in confirmation of whether Bob Bakker was the inspiration for the hero (protagonist) in the books and movie Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton
