Recycling
[edit]Lotteria in Japan doesn't do any of the things mentioned in the recycling section. Perhaps a clarification is in order. I have to go to the Lotteria in my town and check it out. pogo 23:20, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)

But according to Lotteria website, Lotteria is originaly from Japan. It opened in 1972 in Japan, and in 1979 in Korea. So I fixed it and I could not find information about Lotteria in Russia, so make it comment out--Mochi 13:19, 25 May 2005 (UTC)
most koreans..
[edit]The founder and President ( Lotte company) is Korean ( Zainichi). Lotte has two companies in Korea and Japan. Lotte Korea: food, construction, hotels, tourism, fast food, entertainment, amusement park. Lotte Japan: food, fastfoods, toursim. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bostonjj (talk • contribs) 10:49, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
it is true that most koreans think that lotteria is korean. why was that changed? Just wondering...
- I, too would like the user to explain why he removed the fact that most Koreans believe that Lotteria is Japanese. Is it a dirty secret?
- There's some weird Korean nationalism going on with some of these Lotte related pages. One or more users keep insisting that Lotte is Korean when it is clearly not. One look at the corporate history from Lotte's official websites make it obvious when and where key components of the Lotte conglomerate were formed. The mention of most Koreans believing Lotte to be Korean has some NPOV implications. It doesn't provide any useful information except to slight Koreans. It's also very hard to substantiate the claim that "most Koreans" feel this way without conducting a nation-wide survey.
The Lotteria article is currently VERY lopsided and almost pro-Korean. I find the recycling initiatives a little hard to swallow as written in the current version. Starbucks, McDonald's, and several other chains in Japan also have separate recycling bins and water receptacles, but most of this stuff ends up in a landfill or incinerator. It's a corporate snowjob. pogo 23:05, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Sorry, but I think this should clear up the mess: Lotte HistoryManiac 15:43, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
What's with this insert? "Korean Lotteria is not from the Japanese Lotteria. Korean Lotteria is "Korean"." - I'm deleting it. Darkpoet (talk) 11:20, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
Recycling?
[edit]What on Earth does this have to do with Lotteria? It's almost exactly the same at all other fastfood restaurants in South Korea (and to the extent that it differs, it also differs at individual Lotteria restaurants). If no one objects I think I'll just go ahead and delete that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 219.255.6.207 (talk) 11:04, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
- I also see no relation, aside from the fact that Lotteria does recycle. Go ahead and delete it. Mbkkelsey (talk) 00:39, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Franchises in China
[edit]We really need more info on the franchises there; it's the only country not covered in this article. Indonesia could also use some more filling in too, and if there are some in Russia, info on that would be great.--Aichik (talk) 22:54, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
Pronunciation
[edit]Why would they put both an L and and R in the name? Don't they want their customers to be able to pronounce it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.157.42.210 (talk) 03:17, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
