Talk:Pergonal
"By now"
[edit]Rather than say "by now...", it's really better to say "by the early 2000s" (or whenever is roughly correct) - this way the article retains its meaning in the future without needing updated. -- John Fader 23:28, 21 Jan 2005 (UTC)
"It has been told..."
[edit]By whom? Is that really a reliable source? If not, then does it have a place in this article? It's probably better to find a good source or just omit it. EETech 15:17, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
"Main side effect is multiple births"
[edit]Where did you get that data (should cite references)? True, perhaps if ovulation of multiple follicles occured, but the more common use of Pergonal is to create the multiple follicles and then "harvest" them for insemination in a petri dish. Implanting multiple fertilized (or fertilised if you want to use UK spelling) is what causes a greater chance of multiple births. It's a leap of faith to directly correlate Pergonal to higher chance of multiple births. EETech 15:17, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
