This is the first article I have posted to Wikipedia. I originally wrote this for a chapter in a book about my family ancestors. I researched this very carefully and I'm excited to share my work with others. I would love to get some feedback on this submission. I have other images I would have liked to add, but their ownership is not clear. DWR 19:46, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Well I'd point out that there is no proof that there was ever any invasion/migration from Ireland to Western Scotland. Yes there was (perhaps) a spread of Goidelic languages (cultural conversion, relatively common) but no movement of people themselves. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.194.215.249 (talk) 13:35, 24 October 2012 (UTC) I agree with this comment, at least as respects the 8th/9th centuries. Tynron Doon
[edit]The paragraph here on Tyron Doon seems out of place. The fort in question is 28 km away from Sanquair, which is a very long way, and no relevant reason is adduced for mentioning it here. I would propose the removal of this paragraph. Deipnosophista (talk) 15:55, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
