[edit]Nivea is also a famous brand : http://www.nivea.com/
- yes, perhaps that should be in the "Nivea" article instead of this never-heard-of rapper... Alensha 19:31, 14 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- (1) She's an R&B singer, not just a rapper. (2) Plenty of people have heard of her. (3) If you want to make a disambig page, go right ahead. Just make sure to disambiguate all the "Nivea" links that link to the singer. --b. Touch 21:17, 14 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- (1) She might be well-known in her city/country etc., but internationally the brand is more famous. (2) I admit "never-heard-of" was POV. I'm sorry. (3) Disambiguation done. Alensha 15:22, 16 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Nivea.jpg
[edit]Image:Nivea.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 15:58, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Discussion
[edit]Media Take Out is NOT and I repeat NOT a credible source for any entertainment and should never be used as a credible source. Singers like Rihanna and Beyonce have been rumored on there many times and have shot down the rumors countless times —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nocturne09 (talk • contribs) 17:23, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Biography references
[edit]Hey RPoD, rather than just deleting all the biographical info the (seeming) newbs are trying to add, why not give them a hand? Maybe some suggestions on the talk page if their attempts seem to be in good faith?
For example, they could use references to well-respected music magazines such as Rolling Stone, Spin, NME, or The Source rather than to random .coms, don't you think? PerfesserC (talk) 15:05, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
