[edit]I'm certain that it was a car crash that Daniel was involved in, not a wake boarding accident. Anyone else agree with me? (Istabo (talk) 23:57, 12 February 2008 (UTC))
"If You're Not The One" is widely considered as one of the best UK singles so far this decade" - Says who? Do you have a reference for this or is it just your opinion? If it's just your opinion, you must remove it. pomegranate 23:49, Nov 29, 2004 (UTC)
- Well here's a quote from Simon Cowell:
"Which young solo singer around at the moment do you predict will go on to be as famous as Madonna or Michael Jackson?
Probably Daniel Bedingfield. He's a very, very good songwriter. He's naturally gifted and a very smart and talented guy. He's a rarity. He can just keep producing these brilliant songs. This year, he wrote one of the best pop songs I've ever heard - "If You're Not The One". I think he could be the next Elton John." Secfan 00:28, Nov 30, 2004 (UTC)
Sorry, but that's not "widely considered" at all, is it? Perhaps you could said something like "Pop svengali Simon Cowell regards 'if you're not the one' as one of the best...." Otherwise it's an unjustifiable generalisation.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Pomegranate (talk • contribs)
Fair use rationale for Image:Gotta Get Thru This 2.jpg
[edit]Image:Gotta Get Thru This 2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:05, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Popworld
[edit]The sentence about Popworld in the Trivia section obviously belongs in the Music career section. I have not moved it there because the Music career section is written chronologically, and I have no idea where the appearance in Popworld fits in. Coyets 10:51, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

Past tense?
[edit]Why is the opening paragraph written in the past tense if the subject of the article is alive?70.227.26.127 (talk) 04:22, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Has-been
[edit]Bedingfield's musical career is considered by many in the music business to be over. Doesn't say much for his so-called talent. Whether the reader of this comment agrees with this statement or not, it's pretty hard not to disagree with the fact that the wikipedia page here on him is oddly biased - basically it's a love letter to him.
Impartiality needed.
i think he is dead now —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.133.183.140 (talk) 23:50, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
World record holder - why?
[edit]Nothing I have read in this article indicates M. Bedingfield is a record holder in any sense of the phrase. I am removing his Category:World record holders category. If a later editor can prove (i.e., cite!) such notability, they can also re-add the cats. 71.234.215.133 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 19:38, 22 May 2009 (UTC).

2016 war of the worlds
[edit]i was a in a west end production of "Jeff Wane's musical edition of war of the worlds" in 2016, which occurred in the dominion theatre. In which Bedingfield played the artillery man and was fired part way through the run. i was a child at the time so i was never explicitly nor officially told but he was supposedly fired for showing up to or missing, more than one showing due to being intoxicated. i am in possession of mine and my siblings programmes containing his and my names.

Gotta get through this "recorded at home"
[edit]It needs to be fixed. The article claims the entire album was recorded at home, but the two links say no such thing. Both say he recorded the one song at home. At least one song has an orchestra which would have been impossible in a bedroom. Also on discogs.com- every song BUT gotta get through this lists sound engineers, meaning they were all recorded in a studio. https://www.discogs.com/release/5872186-Daniel-Bedingfield-Gotta-Get-Thru-This 2603:8080:7400:E6C:5F01:DCC8:A793:A60D (talk) 05:59, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
