[edit]It says "The FedExForum arena is 805,850 sq. feet in size covering 14 acres."
But 805,850 sq. feet = 18 acres
and 14 acres = 609 840 sq feet.
Can anyone resolve this mismatch?
I think perhaps its talking that in a space of 14 acres there is 805,850 sq feet. for example a skyscraper can take up 1 acre on the ground but have way more sq footage than that of one acre. I believe thats what its referring to. not a direct Conversion from sq feet to acres.
Poorly Written
[edit]The grammar and overall writing of this article is horrible. It needs to be re-written. It also seems this article was written as an advertisement rather than an informative article. Due to both these issues, and as evidenced by the deplorable grammar of this article, perhaps no one from Memphis should be allowed to write it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ersatz723 (talk • contribs)

How is FedExForum unique?
[edit]The first sentence of the article, "FedExForum is one of the most unique arenas in the NBA", piqued my interest. I read on, hoping to find out which architectural feature, invention or design makes the arena so unique. Unfortunately, I was left hanging.
If anyone can expand on what makes the FedExForum so unique & different from other arenas, I think it would be a great addition to this article. -Rhrad 18:45, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

- It's no stub now, that's for sure. --Pwnage8 (talk) 03:43, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
See-thru shot clocks
[edit]Why does the article have two (albeit small) paragraphs about the see-thru shot clocks, especially since there is no source for the information in them (and the latter paragraph is about the devices in other NBA arenas, to boot)? 64.85.229.248 (talk) 05:49, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
- It took all of one Google search to find a source and add it. -- Otto (talk) 15:02, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
The Grindhouse
[edit]I'd like to see a citation on "The Grindhouse" nickname (as best as possible). Also I question the wiki page the term links to. It links to exploitation movies which has one definition for grind house. However the term used here would appear to reference handwork. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.41.31.109 (talk) 03:49, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
The Name "FedExFoum
[edit]Why is FedExForum one word instead of FedEx Forum? --BigMac1212 (talk) 05:20, 18 July 2015 (UTC)

This article is poorly written; between the poor grammar(must've been a Memphian)and it's advertisement tone, it needs a re-write.Ersatz723 16:13, 11 April 2007 (UTC) |
